In the fourth quarter of 2023, Serbia's top social networking applications displayed notable trends in both downloads and revenue, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Rakuten Viber Messenger experienced a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $0.2K and reaching a peak of $0.4K in the week of December 25. Weekly downloads for the app fluctuated, with a low of around 7.4K in mid-November and a high of 17K by the last week of December.

WhatsApp Messenger maintained a steady rate of weekly downloads throughout the quarter. Starting at nearly 20K in late September, the downloads saw a slight dip to around 9.4K in early December before rising again to approximately 15K by the end of December.

Threads, an Instagram app showed a significant upward trend in weekly downloads. The app began the quarter with about 13.8K downloads, which dipped to around 5.7K in early November. However, it surged to an impressive 32.6K in mid-December, finishing the quarter strong with 28.6K downloads in the last week of December.

Facebook saw steady weekly revenue figures, hovering around $0.2K throughout the quarter and peaking at $0.4K in the last week of December. The app's weekly downloads remained relatively stable, starting at 18.1K in late September and ending with 10.6K in the final week of December.

Telegram Messenger had a varied performance in terms of revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue started at $0.4K in late September, dipping to $0.3K mid-quarter, and then peaking at $0.7K in the last week of December. Downloads showed a similar pattern, with initial figures around 13K in late September, dropping to 6.2K mid-December, and closing the quarter at 6.2K.
